If you happen to find yourself in the picturesque Rovinj harbor, you will not remain indifferent to the magical sight of batana, small wooden boats of unique and original appearance. They served us as inspiration and motive this year. They sway quietly and silently, adorned with sun rays, listening to the stories and greetings of the seagulls in the early Rovinj mornings. In their modesty and simplicity, they testify to life and time, preserving the past and living the present. They are a symbol and a seal of persistence and have woven in a special way the soul of this city. And so, if you happen to find yourself in the heart of Rovinj, stop, look and listen. You will take with you an indelible picture of the incomparable Rovinj batana.
