Let's green our hall is the name of one of the activities of the BeGita Erasmus project. Namely, students who attend extracurricular activities Civic upbringing and education (CUE) and Italian cuisine joined forces and greened the school hall with herbs. In addition to the fact that the hall now smells nice, the CUE students thought about sustainable development and entrepreneurship through this activity, because the herbs will be pruned and used in the delicacies prepared by the students at the Italian kitchen. The students jokingly concluded that the situation is definitely profitable because even if the plants wither, all their parts can be used as spices! Among the herbs there was a bit of everything - sage, rosemary, thyme, mint, basil, lemon balm and oregano, which was used on the pizza the next day. Both teachers and all students are proud of this activity, especially those who will enjoy Italian dishes that are unimaginable without aromatic Mediterranean herbs.
